Works on paper.
The nine works gathered here were created by Marcelo in Miami. They document an earlier stage of his relationship with the city: works on paper in which architecture, symbols, memory and color already become part of the composition.

Encounters and institutional presence.
These records bring together process, presentation and institutional circulation. Between June and July 2026, invited by the City of São Paulo, Marcelo presented the Francisco 800 cycle and the A Casa Comum project at Casa Ronaldo.
At the Consulate General of Brazil in Miami, he delivered a work conceived around the 32 years between the World Cups held in the United States, in 1994 and 2026. The images below show a living practice: work in process, conversation and public destination.

03 / The proposition
Architecture is not a backdrop. It is part of the work.
With a visual language developed over two decades, Marcelo brings drawing and architecture together in works that respond to their setting.
Marcelo listens to the story, reads the space, recognizes what already lives there, and draws a composition that could only belong there.

“The wall could never look as if it arrived after the room had been built.”

04 / The process
Four movements. One unrepeatable work.
Architecture, scale, light, movement, furniture, material and color enter the composition from the beginning.
Marcelo turns the conversation into an authorial drawing — not a literal illustration of the story.
Execution happens on site. The work meets the wall, but also the home, the collection and those who live there.
